6:00 pm – Live music featuring local guitarist Tom Proctor begins  along with refreshments provided by CCNF and Old Falls Street
6:30 pm – Santa picked up in fire truck and brought down Old Falls to front of CCNF
6:35 pm - Santa is introduced by city official and a few words are said
6:40 pm – Countdown to lighting and flipping of the switch
6:45 pm – 7:00 pm - Music and refreshments continue until the end of the program

The Grass Roots

Old Falls Street’s 3rd Annual Breakfast With Santa

New York Power Authority’s Power Project holds “A Festival of Trees”

*Niagara County not-for-profit organizations each decorate a tree with items identifiable to their organization. During the length of the event, visitors to the Niagara Power Vista can view the trees and learn about each organization.

*A series of seven holiday-themed shows comes to Seneca Niagara Events Center, as singer and actor Wayne Newton presents “Christmas with Wayne Newton” from Wednesday, Dec. 5 through Sunday, Dec. 9.  Matinee shows at 1:30 p.m. take place on Dec. 5, 6, 8, and 9; evening shows at 7 p.m. take place Dec. 6 through 8.  Newton is known worldwide as “Mr. Las Vegas” for his decades of performances throughout the city.  He gained popularity in the 1960s with the hits “Danke Schoen” and “Red Roses for a Blue Lady,” and had other hits in later years with songs such as “Daddy, Don’t You Walk So Fast” and “Years.”  Newton has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and earned the first star on the Las Vegas Walk of Fame in 2005.  His holiday shows at Seneca Niagara Events Center will be specially-arranged at approximately 900 seats per show to provide increased audience interaction and fantastic views.

Old Falls Street’s 3rd Annual Stuff-A-Bus

*Join Old Falls Street and members of the Downtown Niagara Falls Business Association for the annual Stuff-A-Bus Food Drive, held in cooperation with the NFTA’s festive Holly Trolley, on Friday, Dec. 7. In the spirit of the holiday season, we ask all employees working within the Downtown Niagara Falls, NY, area to donate non-perishable food items so that collectively we can “stuff the Holly Trolley” full of food to benefit the Community Mission of the Niagara Frontier.
·         Items will be driven to the Community Mission that afternoon, just prior to the Holly Trolley’s annual tour of Niagara Falls.
